National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
The National Junior Honor Society is a nationally recognized club that encourages scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
There is multiple criteria that students must meet in order to be considered for NJHS membership.
The candidate must be members of the sixth, seventh, or eighth grade.
The candidate must have been enrolled for a period equivalent to two trimesters at the Sterling Community School.
The candidate eligible for election to the chapter shall have no grade less than a 3 on fully taught concepts.
Upon meeting the grade level, enrollment, and GPA standards, candidates shall then be considered based on their service, leadership, and character by the Sterling Community School NJHS Faculty Advisors.
