Device Insurance

We are pleased to be able to continue to provide students with access to personal Chromebooks to enhance their learning ability in, and outside, the classroom. Like all tools, these devices are prone to damage which, consequently, costs money. As we would like to continue to provide all students with this great resource, Sterling Community School is now providing an 'in-house' insurance program for instances of normal wear and 'no fault' incidents to students in Middle School (Grades 6-8).

Students entering 3rd grade are issued a brand-new Chromebook with an insurance policy which will last until they enter 6th Grade. Once the insurance policy expires, the option will be given for families to opt-in for an insurance policy annually to maintain device protection until graduation.
